This contract specifies the technical requirements for a UH-60 Phase Maintenance Stand System constructed from domestically produced 6000 series aluminum. The system must feature extruded aluminum decking at least 1.5 inches thick, high-traction stair treads, and sliding deck extensions with a pneumatic locking system. Safety is prioritized through the use of powder-coated yellow aluminum rails compliant with OSHA standards, 8-inch low-friction casters with indexing pins, and soft rubber bumpers on all aircraft interface surfaces. Each deck must support a minimum working load of 800 lbs and be engineered to withstand four times that load without failure. Operational efficiency is emphasized through the requirement for tool-free rail relocation, instantaneous stair module attachment without bolts or pins, and telescopic deck legs with lubrication-free bearings. The system must include a one-piece tail rotor work deck and variable-pitch adjustable stair modules that operate independently. All linear actuators must include removable cranks, and the overall design must adhere to all applicable OSHA standards for walkways, stairways, and manually propelled work platforms.
