The scope of work includes shotgun metagenomics, whole genome sequencing (WGS), and RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) to support research on bacterial pathogens, antibiotic resistance, and microbial ecology. The contract utilizes technologies such as Illumina, AVITI, Oxford Nanopore, and PacBio. The BPA has a total not-to-exceed value of $300,000.00 and a five-year period of performance from September 28, 2026, to September 27, 2031, with specific performance periods defined by individual call orders.
