The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Institution - McDowell, located in Welch, West Virginia. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive offers providing all listed output. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided may include inpatient/outpatient hospital services and inpatient/outpatient physician services. The contract type is a requirements contract with firm-fixed unit prices. The contract shall consist of a 12 month base period and four 12 month option periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Year and each Option Year are: Inpatient Days - 100 days (Estimated), Outpatient Visits - 750 visits (Estimated). The solicitation will be made available on or about October 1, 2012 and will be solely distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides downloading instructions. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about the acquisition.
