As we finalize the acquisition strategy for the CTIMR project, we wanted to keep you informed of amendments that will be made to the draft request for proposal (RFP). 1. Area 1 (El Centro and San Diego) we intend to set aside for Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZONE) small business. Areas 2, 3, and 4 are still being evaluated for potential set asides. If you are interested in proposing as a prime or subcontractor in any of these areas and have not expressed your interest to date, please do so with an email including your company's capabilities to CTIMR@cbp.dhs.gov. The draft RFP is posted on FEDBIZOPPS, reference solicitation number is HSBP1209R2483. The link to the site is www.fbo.gov. 2. The bonding levels in the Sources Sought Notice DHSCTIMR-03 will be amended as follows: Area 1: Proposal Bond of $2.72M, Performance/Payment Bond of $6.8M Area 2: Proposal Bond of $5.00M, Performance/Payment Bond of $15.1M Area 3: Proposal Bond of $5.00M, Performance/Payment Bond of $14.5M Area 4: Proposal Bond of $4.42M, Performance/Payment Bond of $11.0M As information, we plan on releasing the final RFP by no later than early to mid September 2009.
