This notice is issued to inform prospective vendors of an upcoming requirement for the procurement of Cable Assembly, Special. This is restricted to AeroControlex Group, Inc.  (81833) because this part must be acquired for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. This part The Compressor Unit, REC is a military unique item not available in the commercial marketplace, it is proprietary in nature and is not supported by a technical data package sufficient to enable alternative sourcing.  This is a Full and Open, Firmed Fixed Price (FFP), Five Year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract.


The Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.  Vendors must be registered in SAM.gov to receive the formal Request for Proposal (RFP). In order to obtain access to the TDP, venders must have an active certification in Joint Certification Program (JCP), https://www.public.dacs.dla.mil/jcp/ext/#ext/dashboard.
