Full Description

The project involves resurfacing 20,000 square feet of existing concrete hangar floor space across several hangars. Prior to work, hangars must be cleared. The scope includes grinding existing concrete surfaces to enhance adhesion, vacuuming and proper disposal of all created material and dust, and repairing all visible cracks, pits, and imperfections to create a uniform, smooth base. A moisture barrier primer will be applied to mitigate vapor transmission, followed by an epoxy base coat in a "delta fog" solid grey color. A polyurethane topcoat with a non-slip additive will then be applied to ensure the final surface is slip-free even when wet. Finally, yellow safety striping with a non-slip additive will be added in designated areas, specifically a 4-foot stripe in front of hangar doors and a 3-foot stripe in front of hangar electrical systems.
