(I) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II) This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 327320, Ready-Mix Concrete Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 500 employees. (III) This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of 4000 MIX Concrete Type I Cement; Coarse Aggregate 1 Gravel (#57); Fine Aggregate Natural Concrete Sand; Fine Aggregate Class C Fly Ash; Water Reducer WRDA 79; Water; Air Entrainm Daravair 1000; Design strength approx. 4000psi (IV) Deliveries will be ordered in increments at times requested by the Point of Contact. Approximately 8 yards will be ordered at a time. (V) Concrete producer must be local and have these materials delivered within 48 hours from the time order is placed. Must have front loading delivery truck (VI) Deliveries will be to the Ouachita Job Corps Center located at 570 Job Corps Rd, Royal AR 71968 (VII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (July 2013), applies to this acquisition. (VIII) FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
