This solicitation, identified as SPE7M1-26-U-5898, is a request for quotations issued by the Department of Defense Maritime Supply Chain for the procurement of 31 electrical plug connectors, NSN 5935012066961, part number D38999/26WG35SA. The item is classified as a critical application item and must comply with MIL-DTL-38999N and MIL-DTL-38999/26G specifications. Delivery is required within 46 days, with shipping terms set as FOB Origin and inspection and acceptance occurring at the destination. The contract imposes strict quality and material restrictions, specifically prohibiting the use of Class I ozone-depleting substances and the intentional addition of mercury. Material manufactured by Amphenol, Matrix, or Pyle National with lot date codes between July 2006 and June 2016 is explicitly unacceptable, and the government may require traceability documents to verify manufacturing dates. Packaging must adhere to MIL-STD-2073-1E and MIL-STD-129, with a specific requirement that removable crimp-type contacts be supplied in a noncorrosive rigid container rather than installed in the connector insert. This is a unilateral Indefinite Delivery Contract with a maximum value of 350,000 dollars, and quotations are due by September 24, 2026.
