Full Description

The Town of Stoughton, in partnership with the RM of Tecumseh No. 65, invites qualified and experienced firms to submit proposals for Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for the development of the Stoughton Community Multiplex Facility. The Project involves the construction of a new multi-purpose recreation facility of approximately 45,000 square feet with an estimated construction value of approximately $15 million. The facility is anticipated to include an NHL-sized ice surface, six dressing rooms, community hall and event space, fitness centre, indoor walking track, meeting rooms, food and beverage service areas, public gathering spaces, and integration with the existing curling rink and outdoor swimming pool mechanical systems. The Project will be delivered using a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) model incorporating Early Contractor Involvement (ECI). The successful Proponent will work collaboratively with the Town, the RM of Tecumseh No. 65, and the Town's Prime Consultant during the pre-construction phase to provide constructability reviews, cost estimating, value engineering, scheduling, procurement planning, risk management, and development of a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). Subject to successful completion of the pre-construction phase, Council approval, available funding, and acceptance of the GMP, the successful Proponent may be retained to provide Construction Management Services through project completion. The Town is seeking a collaborative partner with demonstrated experience delivering complex municipal, recreational, or public-sector projects using CMAR or similar collaborative delivery methods.
