Construction Services for Concrete Platform Milling Work for Metra Electric District (MED) Homewood Station and Riverdale Station

Metra has issued Invitation for Bids IFB 177093B for construction services to perform concrete platform milling at the Homewood and Riverdale Stations within the Metra Electric District. The primary scope of work involves grinding the outside edges of the platforms two feet from the edge to prepare the surfaces for the installation of new yellow tactile panels. Specific technical requirements include removing concrete to a depth of 3/16 inch from the adjacent surface and removing concrete 1/4 inch wide and 3/4 inch deep at the platform edge.
