This synopsis is posted to publicize the Government’s intent to award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Construction Contract at the New Hampshire Job Corps Center.


The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) seeks the services of a qualified construction contractor to complete the replacement of siding on all buildings at the New Hampshire Job Corps Center in Manchester, New Hampshire.


The project is to provide construction services for the phased removal of the existing wood siding system and installation of a new fiber cement plank siding system on Buildings A, B, C, D, E, F, and G. The work includes necessary surface preparation, underlayment/building wrap, sheathing repair or replacement as needed, removal and reinstallation of exterior fixtures and devices, and related work. The approximate total area of existing wood siding is 58,000 square feet.

Period of Performance


NTP to Substantial Completion: 435 calendar days
