1. Title
Various Consultative services in relation to the Jordan’s Principle/Inuit Child First Initiative Appeals process. Consultative Services are as follows:
1 orthodontist
1 pediatrician
1 registered nurse
1 nurse practitioner
2 registered social workers
1 child psychologist
2 orthopedogogists (special education teachers/specialists)
1 registered early childhood educator
1 occupational therapist
1 pharmacist
1 Speech Language Pathologist
2. Objective
Indigenous Services Canada (ISC) requires the consultative services of professionals to be part of the Jordan’s Principle/Inuit Child First Initiative External Expert Review Committee. The committee is composed of External Expert Review Committee members (EERC) from various health, social and educational fields. The Consultant will be asked to review appeal requests for Jordan’s Principle/Inuit CFI cases (individual and group requests), CHRT 41 Capital requests and First Nation Child and Family Services requests and issue recommendations. The services will be required on an as- and when-needed basis.
