Consulting Services for a Joint Library Facilities Review

The County of Lambton is inviting proposals for the supply of a Joint Facilities Review for Lambton County Library. This review will analyze existing library facilities, including their physical condition (including accessibility), suitability, size and location along with examining community demographics, geographic data and library use data to identify current and future community need. The review will also identify additional opportunities for service integration with other County of Lambton programs and services, identity opportunities for innovation in service delivery through the use of technology within physical spaces, identify opportunities to better utilize library space or identify limitations to meeting today’s needs as modern public library spaces and barriers to meeting the future needs of public library spaces. The review will also analyze the operational model in use and identify alternatives. The review will incorporate consultation with facility owners and partners including lower-tier municipalities and representatives from the Lambton-Kent District School Board. The review will conclude with recommended actions for Lambton County Council to consider. See Proposal Document for further details
