Continuing Contract for Professional Environmental Risk Engineering Services (CCNA)

The City of Lakeland is soliciting proposals for a continuing contract to secure professional environmental risk engineering services from qualified firms with demonstrated expertise in hazardous material response, remediation, and disposal. Services required include Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, asbestos surveying, removal, and abatement, as well as investigation and management of surface, subsurface, and groundwater contamination. Firms must also be capable of performing indoor air quality evaluations and abatement, assessing and remediating aboveground and underground storage tanks—including closure and contaminated site remediation under the State of Florida Petroleum Restoration Program—ensuring compliance with lead-based paint regulations, and conducting tank installation, cleaning, and removal operations. Additional essential services encompass the development and inspection of Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure plans, response actions carried out by a Coast Guard-classified Oil Spill Response Organization, and American Petroleum Institute qualified tank inspections.
