U. S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) intends to modify a sole source Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ)contract (H92241-07-C-0001) with Boeing Sikorsky Aircraft Support, (BSAS), a Joint Venture between Boeing Helicopters and Sikorsky Aircraft, 7281 Nightstalker Way, P.O. Box 550, Ft. Campbell, KY 42223, for Life-Cycle Contractor Support to sustain peculiar and close loop systems installed on an Army Special Operations Aviation (ARSOA) aircraft. The proposed action is for services for which the Government does not own specifications and drawings to logically permit full and open competition. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority FAR 6.302-1. Firms that feel they can provide this service are encouraged to identify themselves. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals, however, the Government will consider all proposals received by the specified due date (in accordance with FAR 5.203(a)). A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition is solely within the discretion of the Government. The estimated award date of the modification is around late Jan 2012. You may request a copy via e-mail to patricia.f.ward2.civ@mail.mil. The period of performance shall be for 12 months from the award date of modification.
