The solicitation, issued by the Department of Defense’s Land Supply Chain office under NAICS code 332510, is set for performance in Barstow, CA. The contractor must be certified as a Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 Certified Third-Party Assessment Organization (C3PAO), ensuring rigorous cybersecurity standards. The contract strictly prohibits the use of Class I ozone-depleting chemicals in the production of the items, mandating the submission and approval of any substitute chemicals unless already authorized by specification. Export controls governed by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR) apply due to the sensitive nature of the technical data involved. Contractors must obtain prior approval from the Department of State or Commerce before export or disclosure to foreign persons.
