AI Contract Overview
This contract involves the procurement of one unit of an electrical control item (NSN/Part Number 6110-00-803-7310) with a delivery requirement of 30 days after date of order. The solicitation is managed by the Maritime Supply Chain ESOC Buys within the Department of Defense and carries a response deadline of May 18, 2026. It requires compliance with various technical and quality standards as specified in the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements and incorporates key cybersecurity measures. Certified third-party assessments and self-assessments aligned with the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 are mandated to ensure cybersecurity readiness for contractors handling this procurement. The contract imposes strict export control regulations due to the inclusion of technical data governed by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Restricted distribution of export-controlled data limits access to contractors with approved certifications under the US/Canada Joint Certification Program, proper training completion, and authorization from the DLA controlling authority. Additional requirements address packaging standards, removal of government identification from rejected supplies, configuration change management, and compliance with covered defense information protections. The designated point of contact for this procurement is Laurie Wassmuth, who can be reached via the Department of Defense's official channels.
