The Province of British Columbia is seeking a qualified supplier to coordinate and administer the delivery of up to 20 Desktop Assessment Summaries (DAS) in support of the Wildfire Land-Based Recovery (WLBR) program's Rapid Ecological Assessment Process (REAP) for historical fires (2025) and throughout the 2026 wildfire season. The successful proponent will serve as the primary coordinator and contract administrator, responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of each DAS within two weeks of service request. This will require the proponent to engage and manage a team of multiple Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across a range of ecological values, ensuring the right expertise is mobilized for each assessment based on the specific values and management issues present within each fire perimeter. In addition to DAS coordination and delivery, the successful proponent will be responsible for producing a final process document that captures workflows, SME coordination approaches, and lessons learned to support program improvement.Proponents with demonstrated experience in project coordination, ecological assessment, wildfire recovery, GIS/spatial analysis, and SME or sub-contractor management are encouraged to respond. The anticipated term of the contract is from final execution of contract to March 31, 2027.Further details as to the scope of this opportunity and the requirements can be found within this RFP.
