This contract pertains to the procurement of five electrical cord assemblies with part number 5995-01-283-1264, issued under solicitation SPE4A6-26-T-10NM by the Department of Defense’s ASC Commodities Division. The items must be delivered within 20 days to FPO AP 96692-7200, with FOB origin terms and no quantity variance permitted. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination, and packaging must fully comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA’s packaging requirements, including marking per MIL-STD-129 with no special marking required. The cord assemblies are classified as critical application items, and the contract mandates strict adherence to technical and quality requirements referenced by R and I numbers from the DLA Master List, which governs all specifications including sampling procedures, where zero non-conformances are required unless otherwise stated. Sampling follows MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 Table 1 with defined verification levels for critical, major, and minor attributes. The contract strictly prohibits the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds to any hardware, with exceptions limited to functional uses in specified batteries, fluorescent lights, instruments, sensors, controls, weapon systems, and chemical analysis reagents approved by NAVSEA. Portable fluorescent lamps and instruments containing mercury must include shock-proof design and a secondary containment boundary per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Delivery must be made via the fastest traceable means; parcel post is explicitly forbidden. The supplier must comply with DLA vendor procedures and use the VSM system for shipping logistics. The contract references specific manufacturers and part numbers for the cord assemblies, and all documentation, including source approval and packaging, must meet DLA standards as determined by the master list revision in effect on the solicitation issue date. The required delivery date is July 23, 2026, and the point of contact for inquiries is Shenika Thompson of the Department of Defense.

General Info

Procure five critical electrical cord assemblies, deliver by July 23, 2026, comply with MIL-STD and DLA requirements, no mercury except approved uses.
