The contract is for the supply and delivery of approximately 276 tons of 2-inch Granular Borrow and 184 tons of 1-1/2-inch Untreated Base Course to the Corona Arch Trailhead Parking Lot, located approximately 14 miles west of Moab, Utah, along with the furnishing, operation, and maintenance of a water truck with a minimum 2,000-gallon capacity and spray equipment for dust control and compaction support. The work is classified as a firm-fixed-price supplies contract under NAICS code 237990 and is set aside exclusively for small businesses. Delivery is FOB destination, with a 30-day performance period beginning upon notice to proceed, and materials must be delivered and unloaded by the contractor in areas designated by the Contracting Officer’s Representative, using end-dump trucks only. The government will handle all placement, spreading, and compaction using its own personnel and equipment, with the contractor having no responsibility for these activities. Payment for materials is based on certified weight tickets from approved scales, while the water truck service is paid as a lump sum upon satisfactory completion and acceptance.
