The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory, Code 8124, requires corrosion-control and coating services for one AN/FSC-78 terminal located in Guam.
The contractor shall independently perform all required work and furnish all management, supervision, labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, access equipment, heavy equipment, transportation, shipping, travel, lodging, mobilization, demobilization, environmental controls, containment, quality control, waste handling, and other services necessary to complete the requirement in accordance with the Statement of Work.
The corrosion-control effort includes cleaning contaminated antenna surfaces, removing loose coating and superficial corrosion, preparing affected surfaces, applying compatible protective coatings, collecting and disposing of coating debris, and completing specifically authorized sheet-metal restoration of severely corroded antenna-drum sections.
The place of performance for the corrosion-control and coating effort is the location of the AN/FSC-78 terminal in Guam.
