County of Calaveras Airport (CPU) AWOS Replacement Project

The County of Calaveras is soliciting bids for the AWOS Replacement Project at Calaveras Airport, Maury-Rasmussen Field, with the goal of replacing the existing Automated Weather Observing System with a new FAA-compliant AWOS Type III P system to address persistent power, communications, and sensor failures. The project requires full labor, materials, equipment, and services to install the new system on existing infrastructure, upgrade the communication network to VoIP, replace necessary cable and conduit, and install a new survey monument. Bidders must comply with a comprehensive set of federal, state, and local requirements, including the Davis-Bacon Act, Buy American Preference, Clean Air and Water Pollution Control, Drug-Free Workplace, Occupational Safety and Health Act, and Prohibition of Covered Unmanned Aircraft Systems.
