County of Minburn No. 27 - Request for Quotes - 2026 Mannville Station Yard Improvements

The County of Minburn is seeking quotes from qualified contractors to perform some yard improvements at the County fire station located in Mannville. A detailed listing of the specifications, requirements and location are provided as follows: Project Specifications: • Location: Mannville, Alberta • Removal and disposal of existing 30’ x 30’ concrete foundation. There appears to be a water line protruding from the pad on the southwest corner of the existing pad that will need to be removed as well. • Crib, prep and pour new concrete pad 6” thick • Air Entrained 5%-7% • Base comprised of 6” of compacted ¾” crushed angular gravel • 16” o/c 10mm rebar • 10’ x 10’ control joints • Broom finished and sealed • All labor, base and pad materials • Supply and Install chain link fencing • Approximately 500 feet in length, • Terminal/Gate Posts are to be 3 ½ - 4 ½ inches in diameter x 10 feet minimum of appropriate thickness and galvanized • Line posts are to be 2 3/8 inches in diameter x 8 feet of appropriate thickness and galvanized • Line posts are to be augered and set in place with concrete • Top rails are to be 1 5/8 inches in diameter with swedge end x 21 feet of appropriate thickness and galvanized • Post spacing are to be not more than 10 feet apart • Chain Link Mesh are to be 2 inch squares x 9 gauge galvanized fabric x 6 feet high with 3 strand barb wire on top • Two gates with the following dimensions: - 30 foot cantilevered - 4 foot man gate • All required supplies, manpower and equipment to finish the installation.
