Solicitation SPE7M8-26-T-6240, issued by the DLA Land and Maritime Electrical Devices Division, is a request for quotations for six units of Fire Control Covers (NSN 1240-01-562-6910). The procurement requires delivery to DLA Distribution San Joaquin in Tracy, California, with a required delivery date of April 23, 2025, and a need ship date of November 12, 2024. The contract is designated as FOB Origin, and inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination. The contractor must adhere to strict quality and security standards, including a manufacturer's inspection system compliant with SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001. Due to the nature of the items, the contract includes significant export control restrictions under ITAR and EAR, requiring approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification and specific DLA authorizations to access technical data. Additionally, the requirement mandates CMMC Level 2 certification and compliance with DFARS 252.204-7012 for safeguarding covered defense information. Packaging must follow MIL-STD-129, with items individually packaged and nomenclature omitted from shipping containers as the items are classified as protected cargo. All bare metal and threads must be preserved to prevent corrosion. Invoicing and payment must be processed through the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system. Evaluation preferences are provided for certified HUBZone Small Business Concerns, and the Buy American Act and Berry Amendment apply to the sourcing of materials.
