Solicitation # SPE7L1-27-T-1421
Solicitation SPE7L1-27-T-1421 is a fixed-price request for quotations issued by the DLA Weapons Support Land Supply Chain for the manufacture and delivery of 583 units of Access Covers (NSN 5340-00-736-4254). The items must be produced using a metal casting process requiring specific tooling and must adhere to reference drawing 19207 7364254 Revision L and standard MIL-STD-1916. This procurement is specifically set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB) certified by the Small Business Administration. Delivery is required within 161 days after order, with a need ship date of April 6, 2027, and a final required delivery date of June 13, 2027, shipping FOB Origin to DLA Distribution Anniston in Alabama. The contract mandates strict compliance with technical and quality standards, requiring the manufacturer's inspection system to meet SAE AS9003 or ISO 9001. Key regulatory requirements include adherence to the Buy American Act and the Berry Amendment, as well as prohibitions on Class I ozone-depleting chemicals and hexavalent chromium. Due to the nature of the technical data, the contract is subject to ITAR and EAR export controls, requiring contractors to have approved US/Canada Joint Certification Program certification. Additionally, the awardee must comply with DFARS 252.204-7012 for safeguarding covered defense information and utilize the Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF) system for all invoicing and payment requests.
