Full Description

The US Army Contracting Command - Redstone has a sole source requirement to procure Crashworthy External Fuel Systems (CEFS) Bussed Aircraft A Kits, Part Number HM029-502-31, in support of the Utility Helicopter Project Office (UHPO) Black Hawk Helicopter UH-60M program. A five year, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract is anticipated to be awarded by the Government. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A), this proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source - Robertson Fuel Systems L.L.C., 800 W. Carver Rd., Suite 101, Tempe, AZ 85284-5264 (CAGE 1T765). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen (15) days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Telephone requests for copies of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will not be accepted. This acquisition is restricted to the item description set forth in this synopsis which specifies a Government or manufacturer's part number. There will be no Technical Data Package (TDP) included with the solicitation. It is the responsibility of the potential offeror to obtain all specifications and drawings necessary to manufacture the item being solicited.
