The Cross Bayou Estates Drainage Improvements project focuses on extending the outfall system along 82nd Avenue North as part of the Starkey Road Watershed enhancements. This initiative aims to upgrade the stormwater conveyance infrastructure that currently drains areas including Robin Road, Quail Road, Pelican Lane, and surrounding locations, addressing drainage issues identified south of Jacaranda Avenue, along Pelican Lane, Hollyhock Avenue, and Robin and Quail Roads. The project builds upon previous pipe upsizing efforts along Starkey Road and part of the outfall system completed by AECOM, with the goal of improving stormwater flow and reducing flooding concerns in the area. The project involves professional engineering services with a contract value estimated between $500,000 and $1.5 million, managed by Pinellas Public Works in Florida. The solicitation was posted on June 26, 2025, with a response deadline of July 24, 2025. The primary point of contact is Pamela Ulrich, reachable via email or phone, and interested parties can find additional project details through the provided online portal. This effort is part of a broader initiative to enhance stormwater management and infrastructure resilience within the Starkey Road Watershed.
