Upgrade of approximately 6.5 miles of existing overhead 92 kV transmission line between Avenue 58 Substation (La Quinta) and Avenue 48 Substation (Indio) within existing utility easements and public rights-of-way. Work includes replacing ~164 wood poles with new wood poles, installing nine engineered steel poles and relocating one, reconductoring with 900 kcmil ACSS conductor, adding 48-count OPGW, transferring existing underbuilt distribution, and realigning ~720 feet along Avenue 50 to accommodate a City roadway widening project.
