Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: MTA Construction & Development (MTA C&D) is seeking to retain the services of a Project Management Consultant (“PMC”) to provide construction management, inspection, engineering, scheduling, cost estimating, and safety oversight services for the replacement of the LIRR Fresh Pond Yard Truss Bridge on the Bay Ridge Branch under Construction Contract No. 6546. The project includes construction of a new bridge, installation and reconfiguration of Bay Ridge Tracks 5 & 6 and Fremont Secondary Tracks 1 & 2, realignment of yard interchange tracks, construction of new retaining walls and track infrastructure, and demolition and removal of the existing truss bridge. Services will also include design and construction submittal reviews, quality assurance, schedule and cost control, environmental compliance monitoring, and coordination with LIRR, CSX Transportation, and other project stakeholders through construction and closeout.
