The City of Denton is seeking qualified individuals or businesses to submit sealed proposals for the Briercliff Park Improvements project, with a deadline of May 27, 2026, at 8:00 PM CST. The project involves enhancing the existing park with new sidewalks, a splash park, a restroom facility, upgraded playground equipment, additional shade structures, and a potential "skate spot." Submissions must include original hard copy bid bonds with raised seals and cannot be sent via email. The City encourages early submission due to the complexity of the submittal process. With a project budget set at approximately $3.7 million, encompassing construction, design, soft costs, and right-of-way acquisitions, the City seeks contractors with proven experience and innovative approaches to municipal projects. Respondents may submit proposals for one or more specified service categories, and the selected firm must demonstrate the ability to provide cost-effective solutions that meet the comprehensive requirements outlined in the contract documents. The contracting process adheres to Texas State Law provisions, and the City places strong emphasis on value-driven, innovative delivery of goods and services.
