Culvert

A 5-foot wide by 6-foot high by 51.7-foot long box culvert is required, consisting of eight precast sections with neoprene gaskets installed on each prior to delivery. The project includes two headwalls measuring one foot wide by one foot high at each end, four L-shaped cantilever wingwalls each eight feet long, and cutoff walls at both culvert ends. The culvert will be installed at a 24-degree skew relative to the road alignment. Structural reinforcements include Level 1 black bar rebar, and the design must accommodate HL-93 live load conditions with engineering calculations and New York state professional engineer stamp provided. The culvert must meet Class 100 Tracked and Class 120 Wheeled load ratings as specified in UFC 3-310-08. Exterior waterproofing is to be performed by a separate contractor. All drawings and submittals must be stamped by a New York-licensed professional engineer.
