The Department of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has a requirement to provide senior management with detailed and accurate information on gold, silver, platinum group metals (PGMs), and other precious metals, including price forecasts; projections on supply and demand components; scenario outlooks for precious metals markets; detailed information about gold mine operations and gold markets; and other relevant information.
The work will involve the following: conducting thorough, data-driven research and sound economic analysis of the gold, silver, PGMs, and other precious metals markets and produce datasets, reports, briefing notes, presentations, and other materials that will help inform policy decisions. NRCan will also require user support as needed for questions surrounding the data, the web-based platform, and plug-ins and other online tools if available within three (3) business days.
