AI Contract Overview
The contract requires the fabrication and delivery of five custom mahogany boards for display in Daly Hall at Quantico, Virginia, to represent the Training Command’s history, chain of command, and subordinate units. The boards must be constructed from solid mahogany, not engineered core, and will be mounted on drywall with metal studs using an elevator for access to the first deck foyer, Command Deck exterior, and interior areas. Each board will include a large central logo and 17 subordinate command logos, which must be recreated by the vendor since high-resolution files are not provided. The design includes spaces for 8×11 and 5×7 photo placements using slide-in plexiglass holders, bronze name placards provided by the government, and Mameluke swords supplied by the government alongside mounted brackets. The logos and text elements may be embossed or engraved at the vendor’s discretion, and the overall appearance must align with provided reference slides. All quotes must be submitted electronically by 11 August 2026 under a Firm Fixed Price structure, and vendors are required to comply with Solicitation M0026426Q0132 and its Amendment 0001, which extends the delivery deadline to 30 September 2026. Quoters must review pages 20, 22, and 23 of the solicitation to understand evaluation criteria and submission requirements, including signing and returning all applicable documents. This is a Small Business Set Aside under NAICS code 339950, and primary point of contact is Sgt Jacob Espinosa at the specified email address. The boards are intended for permanent installation and must meet exact design specifications outlined in the solicitation, including dimensions, material quality, and mounting compatibility.

Full Description
Please see attached amendment 0001 changing delivery date to 30 September 2026 and quote response due date to 11 August 2026.
Please see below answered questions from our customer to help inform your quote:
Question: Which floor and room in Daly Hall will the boards be mounted in, and what's the access path for the largest boards (50″ × 120″) — ground floor, stairs, or elevator?
Answer: 1 will go on the 1st Deck foyer, one mounted on the outside of the Command Deck, and 2 within the Command deck (Sergeant’s Major Board, and the MSE Board). There is an elevator.
Question: What is the wall construction at the mounting locations (drywall over stud, masonry/CMU, or plaster)?
Answer: They will be mounted on drywall and metal studs.
Question: Do you require solid mahogany, or is a mahogany veneer over an engineered core acceptable for the larger panels?
Answer: With the cost of the product and the unknown quality of engineer core, I think we would prefer the solid mahogany.
Question: Between embossed and engraved, do you have a preference, or is that left to the vendor?
Answer: This can be left to the vendor.
Question: Will you provide the logo/seal artwork (1 large + 17 subordinate, plus TECOM/Training Command seals) as high-resolution files, or should we recreate them?
Answer: This will need to be created. Unless we absolutely have to supply them.
Question: Are the bronze name placards and the Mameluke swords government-furnished, or is the vendor responsible for supplying them? (I understand the sword brackets are in our scope.)
Answer: The only bronze placard will be provided by the command. And the Mameluke sword will also be government funded.
Question: For the photo positions (8″×11″ and 5″×7″), do you prefer hinged frame hangers or slide-in plexiglass holders, and are the photos government-supplied?
Answer: Recommend using a slide-in plexiglass holders and the photos will need to be supplied by the government.

Five (5) mahogany boards that will display the Training Command CO/SgtMaj history, current chain of command, and subordinate command hierarchy. See attached slides for images and below for further explanation:
Slide 1: Within the large white square there is (1) large logo and (17) smaller logos to represent our subordinate commands, the large and the smaller logos would need to be done individually with high resolution. The (2) 8” x 11” photos to the left and right of the large white square would need to be either a hanger for the picture frames or something we can slide a photo of the size listed possibly plexiglass. The same for the (34) 5”x7” photos below.
Slides 2 and 3: The Sergeant Major of Training Command/Commanders of Training Command could either be embossed or engraved into the wood, which ever looks better. Brackets to hang a Mameluke Sword, and (2) 8” diameter Training Command logos either carved or embossed, and approximately 12”x56” space to place bronze placards.
Slide 4: Training Command at the top will either be embossed or engraved, (2) 2’ x 2’ logos (Training Command and TECOM), and all photos will need to be either a bracket to hang picture frames or built-in plexiglass picture holder.
