Cybersecurity and CUI Protection Services

This contract requires full adherence to NIST Special Publication 800-171 standards to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information across all systems and operations. The subcontractor must implement robust cybersecurity controls to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss of CUI, ensuring that all technical, administrative, and physical safeguards are properly maintained and regularly audited. Compliance is mandatory and must be demonstrated through documented policies, employee training, and continuous monitoring of system configurations and data handling practices. The contractor is obligated to promptly report any cyber incidents involving CUI to the appropriate Department of Defense authorities in accordance with DFARS requirements, including the submission of detailed incident reports and cooperation in forensic investigations. This obligation applies to all personnel, subcontractors, and third-party vendors involved in the performance of the work. The contract is issued under the Defense Logistics Agency as part of the Department of Defense’s broader cybersecurity initiative, with performance expected to meet federal standards regardless of geographic location or operational environment.
