This combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format at FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and this will be the only written request. The solicitation number for this request for this request for quotations (RFQ) is W913E520Q0023. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519 - Other Measuring and Controlling Device Manufacturing. Small business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement will be solicited on an unrestricted basis. The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory (CRREL) has a requirement for to procure three (3) reach-in temperature thermal cycling chambers, conforming to the following requirements: Interior temperature range shall span -25 - C to 40 - C Interior temperature shall be PID controlled Chamber settings and control shall be through touchscreen interface. Controller should also possess temperature logging capability for chamber interior Chamber temperature ramp rate shall meet or exceed 0.5 - C/minute - Interior temperature uniformity and stability shall meet ICH/FDA specifications Interior temperature accuracy shall be with - 0.25 - C The chamber shall possess an interior volume with five (5) rows of shelves, each with an area such that 48 4x8 concrete cylinder specimens can be stored across the full width of the chamber. Chamber sensors shall be calibrated via NIST traceable means, at three points which span the operating temperature range of the chamber. Chambers shall powered by 120V A/C with standard US 120 V A/C plug. Chamber must remain in calibration after shipping and installation or an estimate of onsite calibration should be included in the quote. Calibration refers to temperature calibration via NIST traceable means. Quote shall include as options extended warranty and maintenance/calibration plan. Delivery shall be FOB Destination to ERDC-CRREL in Hanover, NH 03755. Please reference the attached RFQ for the Description of Requirement, as well as all applicable provisions and clauses. The Government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA) responsible quote. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: technical capability to meet the Government's required specifications and price.
