PORTABLE FLUORESCENT LAMPS AND PORTABLE INSTRUMENTS
CONTAINING MERCURY SHALL BE SHOCK PROOF AND CONTAIN
A SECOND BOUNDARY OF CONTAINMENT OF THE MERCURY OR
MERCURY COMPOUND. (IAW NAVSEA 5100-003D).
ALL PIPING, WELDED JOINTS, ALL ASSOCIATED
SEALS, AND ALL PARTS SHALL BE HYDRO TESTED
TO WITHSTAND 4500 PSI INTERNAL PRESSURE.
AFTER ACCEPTANCE, STAMP "HT" ON HOUSING NEXT
TO PIPING WITH ROUND BOTTOM LOW STRESS STAMP.
NONDESTRUCTIVE TESTING SHALL BE PERFORMED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH MIL-STD-271.
ACCEPTANCE STANDARDS ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH
NAVSHIPS 0900-003-8000, CLASS 2. AFTER
