AI Contract Overview
The contract involves the procurement of two graduated laboratory cylinders, each with a capacity of 1000 milliliters, made from clear polymethylpentene (PMP). The cylinders have specific dimensions and graduation intervals, with a diameter of approximately 2 and five-eighths inches and a height of about 17 and one-fourth inches, marked at 10 ml intervals. Each unit must be individually packaged in sealed containers that protect against damage and breakage, with exterior shipping containers meeting commercial standards or export requirements to ensure safe and cost-efficient delivery to Camp Lejeune within 20 days of award. The items are to be marked according to Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes older military standards, and vendors must specify the source and part number of the cylinders supplied. This procurement is managed by the Department of Defense’s Medical Supply Chain FSH under solicitation number SPE2DH-26-T-3869, with a response deadline of May 20, 2026. The contract incorporates detailed technical and quality requirements drawn from the DLA Master List, ensuring adherence to relevant standards and specifications. The package and packing requirements emphasize commercial packaging practices aligned with medical acquisition guidelines, and the contract notes specific provisions concerning the removal of government identification on non-accepted supplies. The primary point of contact for this acquisition is Tina Vu, reachable via email or phone, facilitating communication on solicitations and delivery logistics.
