Sole Source FBO Notice for Procurement Request 000HCCCC-2014-70274 Title: CytoViva 3D System 1.1 with Nano Z Stage - 250 micron, Cooled CCD Camera, 3D Image Analysis Software, 3D Acquist ion Software, Training, Installation and Shipping Costs of System. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Pathology and Physiology Research Branch, Health Effects Laboratory Division intends to award a sole source firm fixed price purchase order to CytoViva, 570 Devall Drive, Auburn, AL 36832 for a CytoViva 3D System 1.1 with Nano Z Stage - 250 micron, Cooled CCD Camera, 3D Image Analysis Software, 3D Acquist ions Software, Training, Installation and Shipping costs of System. The CytoViva 30 System is specifically designed to work with and enhance our current CytoViva Hyper spectral Imaging System. The proprietary CytoViva 30 system is only compatible with our CytoViva equipment as it is the only technology of its kind. This 30 system will utilize the imaging capability of our system in order to produce 3 dimensional images thus locating particles, differentiating them from their surrounding matrix, compiling & acquiring images as well as analyzing those images and raw data. This contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) and 10 U.S.C 2304(c) (1). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. The notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, all quotations/responses received within (15) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
