Full Description

The contractor shall provide: technically qualified personnel who understand, speak, read and write the English language; administration; management; parts, supplies, tools, equipment and vehicles other than GFE; to operate and maintain the Administ rative Telephone System and cable plant at Fort Campbell, KY. This includes Customer Services (Telephone), Outside Plant (Cable), and video teleconference circuit set-ups, SIPR/NIPR network drops, alarm circuits, metering, and any other special communicati ons circuit requirements required by the DOIM to support the organizations listed in the performance work statement (PWS). The contractor shall provide technical and administrative coordination of outside plant (OSP) and other on-base telephone and commun ications activities; and track and complete all telecommunications service orders. The contractor shall also be responsible for the completion of Local Service Requests (LSR), noting cable record changes and additional associated components or instruments on the appropriate forms. The contractor may also be required to provide material, overtime, travel and per diem, and training in support of requirements, as needed. Please note: There will be a pre-proposal conference held at Fort Campbell, Ky o n 26 February 2008. Sign in will begin at 0745 to be followed by the conference and a tour of the site. The conference plus site visit is expected to last all day. The meeting place will be in Building 907, Bastogne Avenue in the conference room. Requ irements for gaining access to post is a picture ID (driver's license, CAC card); Driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration/rental agreement. The conference is limited to two visitors per contractor. In addition, if you plan to atten d the conference, you must pre-register with Linda Van Collie at contact@example.gov no later than noon MST on 21 February 2008.
