Full Description

It is the intent of this agency to award a sole source contract. Numbered Note 22 applies to this notice. This agency intends to award a purchase order to Siemens Government Services, Inc., 1881 Campus Commons Drive Suite 300, Reston, Virginia 20191. 6 AMW/ Command Post requires the relocation of Siemens electronics (dispatch consoles, radio interfaces and all support equipment) from building 54 to a new location (rooms 105, 106 and 119) in building 90.. A contract for the relocation of the command post will be awarded to Siemens Government Services, Inc. following no response back to this notice of intent. This purchase for the relocation of the command post must be done through Siemens Government Services, Inc. because the relocation also includes the upgrade of existing HiPath 4000 PBX software from older version to latest JITC certified version; installation, configuration, support and warranty for Siemens radio interfaces are also included. The work will include the disassembly, packing, transportation and reassembly of proprietary command post solution to include furniture components from different manufacturers in different configurations along with the new system being fully tested, warranted and supported on an ongoing basis. Market research was conducted for the purchase of relocating the command post and Siemens Government Services, Inc. is the only contractor found able to supply this item as we require. If no response to this notice is received by 10:00 AM EST on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, the award for this relocation will be made to Siemens Government Services, Inc.
