This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number W81XWH-12-R-0083 was issued 3 August 2012, an amendment will be issued on or about 21 August 2012 concerning site visit; information and proposals will be due shortly thereafter a site visit is conducted and announcemnt in the solicitation. The Government's requirement is to acquire services which include delivery, installation and configuration of Virtualization equipment, provide necessary knowledge transfer and training to IMB designated staff, and to provide warranty information and all necessary documentation. The proposal must meet the requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement listed in the Solicitation. This service will be performed at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334290 and this will be a Small Business Set -Aside Procurement. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued by this contracting office.
