Full Description

The White Sands Missile Range Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract to QWEST GOVERNMENT SERVICES, 1005 17TH STREET, ROOM 1630, DENVER, CO 80202-2028 for a two-year lease agreement for fiber optic support services. An additional t wo-year extension made be needed if mission testing is not complete. Qwest Government Services is the only contractor who has a fiber line already in place at White Sands Missile Range. Putting a separate dedicated fiber line is not cost effective so there fore not a feasible option. Other than full and open competition will be used under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirement.
