Full Description

The Department of State intends to enter into negotiations with ITT Industries, Systems Division, 4410 E. Fountain Blvd., Colorado Springs, CO 80935-5012 with the intent of awarding a sole source contract in accordance with FAR 6.302-1. The resulting contract will provide on-site maintenance and operational support to sustain the Department's legacy message switching systems known as the Automated Terminal Station (ATS) and the State Telecommunications Automated Relay System (STARS) for one base year and four one-year option periods. Services will include software support that consists of application design, development, modification, and enhancements, utilizing assembly and higher-level language programming in a real-time telecommunications environment. Other support activities include Local Area Network, Configuration Management, Software Maintenance, Hardware Maintenance, Network Management, Infrastructure Integration, Disaster Recovery, Information Technology Systems Analysis, Information Security/Information Assurance Application, Deployed Communications systems, Desktop Training and other Customer Support. A Top Secret facility clearance is required. A draft Statement of Work, Appendix, and Equipment List are available on the Statebuy Interactive Platform, located at https://state.monmouth.army.mil.
