The United States Army Geospatial Center plans to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to SynCADD, Inc. for the operations and maintenance of the Proactive Real-Property Interactive Space Management System (PRISMS). This decision is based on SynCADD’s exclusive expertise with the enterprise geospatial environment, justifying the use of a non-competitive process under specific federal acquisition regulations. This procurement falls under the NAICS code 541512, which pertains to computer systems design services. Interested parties were invited to submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations by November 7, 2014, but the government retains full discretion regarding whether to proceed with competition. The notice explicitly states that oral communications are not acceptable, no solicitation will be issued, and technical questions will not be addressed.
