D -- Operation and Maintenance of Base Telecommunications Systems (BTS)

This is a Sources Sought Market Survey Synopsis to identify vendors who are a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business that would be interested and capable of providing non-personal services for operations, maintenance and recurring support services at various bases throughout the continental United States. The performance period would be for a base period and up to four option periods totaling approximately 60 months. These services would include providing all personnel, equipment, parts, material, tools, operation and maintenance documentation; any other items and services necessary to perform operation and maintenance of any given location; and perform operations and maintenance on switching systems, transmission equipment, ancillary equipment, customer premise equipment, and the inside and outside plant. The kind of switching equipment to be maintained range from Lucent Definity G3R, Meridian MSL 100, Meridian SL1, Meridian 1, and Meridian 1 Option 81C digital switches. NAICS Code: 517110 with size standard of 1500 employees. Firms that are interested in providing Operation and Maintenance service are requested to provide a brief summary of technical and financial information. This synopsis neither constitutes a Request for proposal or Invitation for Bid, nor does it restrict the Government to an ultimate acquisition approach.
