PLEASE FILL OUT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS and The Affirmation and DIsclosure and Upload to the system8 EACH – LIGHT POLE, 23’-6” ROUND TAPERED ALUMINUM WITH 10’ DAVIT & TRANSFORMER BASEDelivery of the Light poles and Transformer Bases shall be made within eight (8) months upon written or verbal notification of a valid State of Ohio Purchase Order (PO).All deliveries shall be coordinated to ensure proper storage and hand-off methods are in place. Deliveries must be between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding State of Ohio holidays, unless special permission is granted by the department to temporarily waive or adjust this requirement.The supports shall be shipped with each supports associated hardware separately boxed/crated labeled, packaged, and secured. Anchor bolts as specified shall be included and delivered in bundles. A bundle shall consist of all required anchor bolts and mounting hardware. The mounting hardware shall be installed on each bolt when shipped.The supplier must notify the point of delivery date and time at least five (5) days in advance of the day of delivery or at the time of loading prior to shipment, whichever is sooner. This notification is needed for the Department to coordinate equipment to unload the shipment at the delivery location. An itemization of all delivered parts shall be provided with each shipment. THE DAVIT ARM SHALL SLIP-FIT ONTO A SPECIALLY FORMED TENON ON THE POLE AND BE SECURED IN PLACE WITH TWO STAINLESS STEEL BOLTS TO ACHIEVE A LUMINAIRE MOUNTING HEIGHT OF 30’.ALUMINUM LIGHT POLES AND DAVIT ARMS SHALL BE FACTORY PAINTED BLACK BY THE MANUFACTURER AND SHIPPED PROPERLY WRAPPED AND PROTECTED TO AVOID DAMAGE TO THE FINISH IN TRANSIT. POLES SHALL BE CLEAN WITH A SUITABLE WATER-BASED CLEANER OR SOLVENT AND THEN ELECTROSTATICALLY PAINTED WITH THE POLE MANUFACTURER’S STANDARD BLACK URETHAN/POLYESTER POWDER COAT PAINT TO A MINIMUM THICKNESS OF 2 MILS. AFTER SUITABLE CURING UNDER HEAT, THE POWDER COATING SHALL PASS THE FOLLOWING TESTS: PENCIL HARDNESS: H TO 2H IMPACT: 106 LB DIRECT IMPACT BY GARDNER MOD. 1G-1120 PER ASTM D-2794 ADHESION: LEVEL 4 OR BETTER PER ASTM 3359-B ABRASION: LESS THAN 60MG OF FINISH AFTER 1,000 CYCLES ON TABER ABRASER EQUIPPED WITH CS-10 WHEELS UNDER 1KG LOAD HUMIDITY RESISTANCE: NO EFFECT ON FINISH AFTER 1,000 HOURS EXPOSURE TO 100% RELATIVE HUMIDITY AT 100° FAHRENHEIT WEATHERABILITY: MEET OR EXCEED ASTM 336 ANCHOR BOLTS SHALL BE FUNISHED AND SUPPLIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH STANDARD CONSTRUCTION DRAWING AND APPLICABLE REFERENCES.2: TRANSFORMER BASE, AT-AIN ADDITION TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF 725.21 AND HL-10.13, ALUMINUM TRANSFORMER BASES SHALL BE PER DELAWARE COUNTY ENGINEER OFFICE STANDARD T-BASE DETAIL REV #1 (4/26/16). The provisions of C&MS 625.06 Shop Drawings are required. Acceptance of detailed shop drawings, etc. does not relieve the bidder of the responsibility for erroneous or inconsistent dimensions, notations, omissions, or other errors in the design of the delivered product.During bid advertisement, if further clarification is needed by the bidder due to issues or design errors before the bid opening date, the bidder shall submit all pre-bid questions to the Bid Contact. Any deviations from the specifications indicated herein must be clearly pointed out. Otherwise, it will be considered that items offered are in strict compliance with these specifications herein and the successful bidder will be held responsible, therefore. Each unit delivered shall be guaranteed against faulty material and workmanship for a period as stated by the bidder in the proposal (this guarantee period shall be not less than that usually granted) and, if during this period such faults develop, the bidder agrees to replace the unit or the part affected without cost to ODOT, with all replacement charges paid for by the vendor.
