This project is for repairs of certain items of the historically significant residence and carriage house located at the Denbigh Experimental Forest in McHenry County on the Dakota Prairie Grasslands in North Dakota. The interior of the carriage house and the residence basement shall be professionally cleaned and sanitized to remove all animal waste and mold from all surfaces prior to beginning work. The services required by this contract are for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, and incidentals to remove concrete slabs and replace with a concrete floor in the carriage house, remove and replace 2 headers over the 2 sets of swing doors and the support column in the carriage house, align swing doors and walk in door of carriage house to close and seal, replace trim boards on NE corner of carriage house, clean/sweep the chimneys of the carriage house and residence, install a chimney liner and a chimney cap on the residence chimney, repair and install the damper for the residence fireplace, repair the 2 windows in the basement of the residence and install a sump pump and discharge piping in the residence basement.
