The types of services that may be provided are described in this RFP. Services will be authorized on a task order basis as needed. The DOW operates and manages a portfolio of dams necessary to support drinking water supply for the City. All of the regulated dams fall under the jurisdiction of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources – Dam Safety, and additionally, the O’Shaughnessy Dam is regulated by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The City will assign work on a task order basis within a three-year Assignment Window, which will start on the date of the Purchase Order for the initial contract and end three years after the date of that Purchase Order. E.g., based on an anticipated Purchase Order date of June 2024, the three-year Assignment Window is anticipated to run from June 2024 through June 2027. The initial contract term will be equal to the assignment window. The City anticipates that the initial contract will be authorized for $200,000 and the contract will have up to two renewal options, at the City’s discretion, of $200,000 each. Requests for legislation for these optional contract renewals will be made within the Assignment Window (i.e. prior to June 2027) and they will not extend the duration of the Assignment Window. Contract renewal requests to extend the contract term beyond the initial three-year period may be required to complete tasks initiated during the Assignment Window.
