AI Contract Overview

The United States Special Operations Command Technology Application Contracting Office intends to establish an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for engineering support and life cycle sustainment of the Data Concentrator Unit hardware, software, and Integrated Warning Caution Advisory-Voice system. This requirement will be fulfilled through a combination of Firm Fixed Price, Cost, and Cost Plus Fixed Fee contract vehicles under NAICS code 334111. The government intends to solicit this requirement from a single source, SCI Technology, Inc., as they hold the proprietary technical data rights for the equipment. Utilizing another source would result in unacceptable delays and a substantial duplication of costs. While the government is pursuing a sole-source action under FAR 6.302-1, interested parties were invited to submit capability statements to determine if a competitive procurement was warranted.
