The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, through its Public Procurement Agency, is seeking to establish a Master Standing Offer Agreement (MSOA) to create a roster of qualified suppliers for the installation and repair of data wiring, encompassing both UTP copper and fibre optics, across various locations within the province. These locations are divided into fifteen designated service areas that cover key municipalities and regions such as St. John's Metro, Conception Bay, Clarenville, Gander, Corner Brook, and multiple areas in Labrador, among others. The agreement functions as an order-of-call roster, enabling the Province and other participating public entities to request services on an as-needed basis, with suppliers expected to perform work at Provincial facilities and other delegated entities’ owned or leased sites throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. Several specific organizations, including the Burin Peninsula Regional Service Board, College of the North Atlantic, and the Towns of Baie Verte and Old Perlican, participate in this RFQ, indicating that services may be required at their respective sites as well. A critical requirement for suppliers bidding on this opportunity is that employees performing the work must obtain Criminal Record Screening Certificates, a mandatory precondition for contract award. The solicitation, identified by RFQ125013291 and posted on January 16, 2026, has a response deadline set for February 2, 2026. Interested suppliers can access bidding documents via MERX, with potential fees applicable. The designated contracting authority for inquiries is Mike Evans, reachable via email.
